Massey Association of Communication Students (MACS)
MACS exists to enhance the university experience for communication students by providing academic, professional and social opportunities, as well as real world experience.
Massey Digital
Massey Digital is a creative club that focuses on expanding and sharing various skill sets. All degrees are welcome and encouraged. From filming events like Armageddon to workshops, going on photo walks and creating content such as short films, music videos, games etc.
No experience is needed. We love having fun and making cool stuff! If this sounds like you, or you want to expand your network and meet some new people or just join in on some fun activities like bubble soccer, join us now!
We meet weekly in the Flax and Fern on Wednesdays at 12:30pm.
Massey Screenwriters
Massey Screenwriters is a group for students studying Creative Media Production at Massey to hone their screenwriting skills. Through collaborating, we want fellow screenwriters and students to meet and share resources, tips and skills to help each other improve. By organising screenwriting events, we meet industry professionals to network and make connections with screenwriters within the industry.
Banter and Brews
We are club who runs events for current Massey design students to gain insights from past students into the industry transition over some food and brews.

Koha Coffee is a student run club that serves quality filter coffee and a delightful assortment of tea. Whether you're after a quick caffeine boost or an opportunity to make some new friends, we've got you covered!

Nursing Club
Massey Rock Climbing Club (MRCC)
MRRC are hyped about anything which involves rock climbing. We're talking about outdoor trips (local to remote), gym sessions that guide members on the best way to climb, as well as social events!
Saving Throws Club
Reel Ladies
We are a female-led group, that focuses on the social and developmental needs of women in creative media production at Massey University.
We run a monthly meet up/ Workshop tailored to the needs of the current women of CMP.
Although our focus is on the needs of people who identify as women, we are open to any and all members who are interested in this topic.
Life Drawing
We’re a club providing a social and friendly art space for both beginners and advanced life drawers to come and study the nude human form. We have a different nude model each week who holds a range of poses over the 2 hour sessions. These poses are held for a short time in the beginning, gradually building to longer 20-30 minute duration by the end. Bring your own art supplies, and you are welcome to use any medium.
Greens at Massey
Greens@MasseyWLG is a club at Massey University of Wellington who aim to promote political discussion around the policies of The Green Party of Aotearoa NZ
The Makers Club
To create a group that encourages collaboration across disciplines and the sharing of expertise, technique and ideas. Making need not be a solitary activity, DIY becomes far more interesting when it moves on to DIWO (Do It With Others), Ultimately we are hoping to begin building the sort of community of makers that can be seen worldwide in the hackerspace/makerspace movement.
Thursdays in Black at Massey Wellington
Thursday's in Black Massey Wellington fights towards a campus and world without rape and violence. We want to raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual violence in our community and build a supportive and inclusive community on campus for all.

Massey Outdoor Recreation Club (MORC)
An outdoors club for anything and everything awesome so we can go and have some adventures. Alpine stuff, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, surfing, fishing etc. etc! Uni Q is a Queer representative group, providing support and running events for LGBTQ+ students and friends at Massey Wellington.
